Hi. I'm Faith Schurr. In September, 2005, I had my right leg amputated because of bone cancer. I feel much better now that my pain is gone. The only problem I had after the surgery was that I had what seemed to be phantom limb pain that was relieved with acupuncture. With all the supportive care given by my mommy, Mary Schurr, and my medical support teams, I'm my old self, and get around easily. If you didn't look carefully, you wouldn't even know my leg was gone.
